I applied online. I interviewed at Optiver in Jan 2021
Interview
It went from behavioral to technical questions in 0-60. I do not know if this was the intention or not but it gave me the feeling of being arbitrarily hard, described below

Question 1
I mentioned I do a lot of coding practice sites and this shifted gears for the interview to become basically a coding practice site "hard" level question which was to find a way to find the median of two sorted arrays. I was able to give the basic concept of how you can do it but then the interviewer even wanted a verbal account for how to handle edge cases. Seems very hard compared to other questions posted here.
A bit anxiety inducing, there were two developers observing and asking questions. Real-time problem solving required, conducted on Hacker Rank virtually, video and mic enabled - quite nervewracking to say the least
I had one round, which was an online HackerRank test. I wasn’t able to pass all the test cases, and as a result, I did not progress to the next stage of the process.
A lot of interviews. Started off with a call, then some online tests. Then a technical interview. Then a live coding interview along with a architecture interview. Last step would have been final day interview but I did not get that far.
