I received an email from one of the recruiters saying that they would like to move forward with my candidacy and sent me a link to a quantitative test powered by Hacker Rank. The email DID NOT specify the deadline to take the test. They did not bother to respond to my email asking what the test was about so that I could prepare accordingly. Since I did not know the deadline and had other interviews lined up I took this test at a random night (2 hours, 4 questions). As such the questions were not that difficult, but there were several issues with formatting, and they were some grammatical errors with the questions. Not to mention that I had no idea what to prepare for because the recruiter did not care to respond. A representative of Optiver had talked about how Optiver loses candidates to Microsoft, Google, etc., in a podcast with Hacker Rank. Well, if Optiver does not have time to respond to candidates and does not value their time, then you are definitely going to lose good candidates.

Other Quantitative Researcher Interview Reviews for Optiver
Very smooth, the HR just asked me why Optiver, why quant, what is your strength and weakness, what is the career plan in the next 5 years, but I did not answer very perfect
The first section was the online assessment which wasnt too bad, and the next part was a scheduled face to face behavioural interview. Still waiting to see if i passed that stage of recruitment
first round of math probability
2nd of betting. the platform was bit hard to use. Recommend to get some training if you can find the resources. both interviewers were nice
