I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Peloton Interactive
Interview
You first meet with a recruiter for an informal discussion about the position and the company, standard affairs. The next step in the process is outsourced so you are presented pointless algorithm questions from a Russian outsourcer that has no affiliation with the company. I was pretty disappointed that the company decided to outsource the interview process, it feels completely lazy and left a bad impression on the company before I even started the interview.
The questions that are asked via karat are pointless algorithm questions that have nothing to do with day to day engineering practices, and everything to do with filtering out people that decided it's pointless to grind interview questions on leetcode.
Truly an absolutely lazy interview process that speaks about the culture of the company in my opinion. Don't waste your time.

Question 1
Pointless algorithm questions from a subset of computer science you only ever bother to study when you are looking for a new job, because the majority of companies, like Peloton, are lazy in defining their interview structure.
I applied online. I interviewed at Peloton Interactive in Apr 2023
Interview
Was asked a simple coding question. Was not on that day and wasn't able to nail the question. Never-the-less, I got 98% of the solution but was tripped up on a single test case with an off-by-one error I ran out of time trying to debug.

Question 1
Implement a list-based data structure that performs inserts and deletes in constant time.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Peloton Interactive in Feb 2023
Interview
TLDR - Interview questions were average difficulty. Interview process was chaotic and left a bad impression of how the company operates.
Applied online. Had a pleasant experience with the phone screen. Onsite was a different story. The process was pretty chaotic. It was clear when I spoke to interviewers that they had no interest in me as a candidate but were there to do this interview as a formality. Also the schedule and calendar invites that I received were not correct so I showed up in zooms that had no interviewers and in one case showed up at the wrong time.

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Peloton Interactive in Dec 2022
Interview
Recruiter interview: Typical recruiter screening interview. Technical Screening: A data structures type question tech screen Onsite: 4 onsite interviews (data structures, sys design, data modeling, behavioral). Overall the interview process was really great. They allow you to lookup syntax/documentation on Google in the coding questions. The system design and data modeling questions were open ended and they weren't looking for an exact match to their solution.

Question 1
- Typical data structures questions - For the data modeling and system design they used good questions related to Peloton.
