Peloton Interactive Senior Software Engineer interview questions

Recruiter reached out on LinkedIn, had a technical interview through Karat, then met with hiring manager, and finally had a 3 hour interview block that was one hour technical, 1 hour cultural, and a follow up with the hiring manager. I thought the process was pretty straightforward and wasn't overly difficult.

You first meet with a recruiter for an informal discussion about the position and the company, standard affairs. The next step in the process is outsourced so you are presented pointless algorithm questions from a Russian outsourcer that has no affiliation with the company. I was pretty disappointed that the company decided to outsource the interview process, it feels completely lazy and left a bad impression on the company before I even started the interview. The questions that are asked via karat are pointless algorithm questions that have nothing to do with day to day engineering practices, and everything to do with filtering out people that decided it's pointless to grind interview questions on leetcode. Truly an absolutely lazy interview process that speaks about the culture of the company in my opinion. Don't waste your time.
