The interview was conducted by the District Sales Manager. He was very friendly, positive, and a good conversationalist.
The majority of the interview was conducted with pen and easel, as he diagrammed how the compensation plan works. I found this slightly odd, as it seems he was trying to gauge my reaction to the salary one could expect from this position.
Additionally, he mentioned on numerous occasions how this particular territory was the most challenging one in the country and high growth was not expected. To be frank, he seemed to be selling a myriad of reasons why one would NOT want to accept the position.
He got his wish, as I backed out of the process the next day.
