Had a great interaction with the recruitment folks at Pinterest, impressed. Applied online & quickly received an email asking for a phone call. Successful call turned into a 4 hour interview on-site with a presentation & interview panel. The recruitment team let me know there would be 4 people, but 8 people ended up in the room (one on video conference). The presentation was created around a fake project brief, followed by four 1:1 interviews for Q&A. 2 days after, received 1 very short email from a different recruiter saying they were moving forward with another candidate. Recruiter was very professional, but provided extremely limited feedback (understand thats typical nowadays). The time and energy use on a false presentation should be reevaluated - It seems to be a blocker for really getting to know a candidate with relevant questions about background and experience.
