Got a reject as they had concluded hiring process. Start your application process as early as possible. This has happened to me with 2 other companies as well
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Pinterest (San Francisco, CA) in Oct 2019
Interview
The process was fast. Got a coding assessment in late September. Once i did the challenge, the recruiter got back to me in 2 days to schedule a karat video interview . I was then invited for an onsite in SF. The onsite was 4 interviews back to back and the interviewers were nice and smart. I then got an offer call after 2 weeks following the onsite interview.

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Pinterest in Oct 2018
Interview
First was a coding challenge that gives you 12 hours to complete in one sitting. This coding challenge can definitely be done in less than 12 but its nice to not feel rushed to solve the problem
The second is a Karat coding challenge, this is a webcam/coderpad style. They emphasize that you can get a second chance but I honestly believe its due to Karat's policy and not Pinterest so I would try to ace the interview the first time.
The Three is an onsite interview, I didn't make it this far but its 4 technical interviews back to back to back to back.
