I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Progressive Insurance (Greenville, SC) in Jun 2025
Interview
I applied and then got an email with a link to complete an assessment. A few days after the assessment, I got an email to complete a recorded video interview. This interview was judged by your answers AND by how long it took you to submit it (I assume to mark your eagerness for the job). The recorded interview was all STAR questions and there were 8 of them. You got two attempts to answer each question and a 3 minute time limit. If you used the second attempt, the answer was automatically submitted after you finished recording it. A few days after I completed the recorded interview, I got invited to select a day for a live video interview. The interviewer started with an overview of the position and training timeline, gave you the exact salary, and then asked 5 STAR questions. The interviewer might ask follow up questions if you missed part of the question. After the questions, there's time for you to ask any questions you have. Each section of the interview process gives a window of 7-10 days before you get a response.

Interview
Met the minimum requirements, then I got a link to the four part assessment. Once I passed the assessment, almost right away I got an invite to a HireVue interview. Finally, I got to interview with real people.

It was a fairly lengthly process which involved the application, an assessment, pre-recorded one way interview, and a live virtual interview. Asked behavior-based STAR questions. It was extensive with at least 10 questions.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Progressive Insurance (Allentown, PA) in May 2026
Interview
The interview process is extensive, there are several levels after applying for the position. Initially there are several questions to answer followed by a video interview with Behavioral questions to be answered in their STAR format (Situation, Task, Action, Result) followed by the following interview with an actual manager. This interview was also answering additional behavioral questions in the STAR format and answering several other questions. After all was said and done. I received an e-mail informing me they went a different direction.
