Most horrible interview process, and total waste of time.
First they give you 3 hours with 2 questions one question will be algorithm and other you've to build a service, write jenkins pipeline code, write docker image and deploy into their AWS workspace. Then there will be next round where they'll ask you what all you did in that service and that algo. So far I have attended many interviews and cleared most of the algo and DS round, none of the interview panel ever expected OOPS in algo question. they only see time and space complexity. But this weird interviwer was expecting me to have OOPS concept in the algo code I had written. He was also getting offended when I was trying to tell him whats right.
Second round was with Hiring manager. His questions were good but this guy asked me which CDN your organization homepage uses. I din't know. I am sure 90% ppl out there wouldn't know the CDN their organization uses. He made fun of me.
Third round this guy couldn't join on the video conference they had scheduled and connected with me on phone and was continuously dropping off. He asked some good questions, but he was expecting me to explain class dgms on phone. They could've just postponed the interview when he could join through video conf, so that I could whiteboard it.
Finally I got email from HR - As per feedback received you have good sound technical experience and have understood this requirement. However given at current scenario, seems we will not be able to go ahead with your candidature and considering there is always a learning opportunity.
Till now they haven't responded saying why they rejected. They say I was good in interview but with current scenario they can't hire. This is sucha vague email. Wasting precious time of candidate.
My words of advice is try avoiding this company. Interview panel is full of egoistic people. And they waste a lot of time.
