Get good grades first (that's a must). Get an internship first if you may. Try internships in different industry groups, try advisory, try assurance. Make a good impression during your internship. Long hours is a given, if you can't work past midnight, forget it.
No internship? get the grades, be good in English. Find a referral from within the firm. Get yourself prepared about the current issues in audit / assurance. Knowing some technical knowledge on standards is a plus especially if you're interviewing for a senior role.
Be vocal, opinion-ted but not rude. Team playing characteristics is a must at an interview.
