I'm Cheng Yu Chiu, a senior Electrical Engineering student at Purdue University maintaining a 3.86 GPA. Currently, I serve as a Teaching Assistant for semiconductor device courses, where I guide 70+ students through complex semiconductor physics and device concepts. Besides my strong academic background. In my research role at Purdue's Birck Nanotechnology Center, I lead a 14-person team developing heterogeneous integration processes for satellite sensors. We work with multiple substrate materials and gain hans-on experience in fabrication processes including lithography, DRIE etching and PVD. This experience not only aligns well with GF's semiconductor manufacturing focus but also strengthened my technical skills and leadership abilities. I'm particularly excited about applying this combination of academic excellence, leadership experience, and research ability to GlobalFoundries' rotational program.
