The whole interview process with Quantum Metric was an amazing experience. All in all it took about two weeks from first contact up until I received the offer.
First I spoke with a recruiter who was very easy to talk to and made the screening feel like a conversation with a friend. We spoke about some basic aspects of the job and my background as well and after that I was sent a technical challenge. The challenge definitely tested my skills but it was fun as well.
Following that, I met with the hiring manager who would be the manager on my Customer Success team and he was super cool and personable as well. In this portion of the process, we dove a little more into the technical side of the job. Nothing too out of the ordinary though. Basically like the technical challenge but during a live coding session.
After passing through that stage of the process, I met with a VP and I can honestly say it was one of the coolest talks I've had with someone both inside the interview process and just in general. Very personal conversation and focused a lot more on culture fit and if you have the right soft skills to succeed in the role.
Finally, I met with CEO of the company. At first I was intimidated. I thought interviewing with the person at the top of the company would be scary and very intense. I was wrong. He is an awesome person and cares a lot about the company and every single person within it. Here you can learn more about why he started the company and see that his main goal was really just to help people!
Summarizing the whole interview experience, I would say it was the best one I have been a part of as everyone I spoke with was amazing and made me feel wanted from the start. Now I am looking forward to being a part of the awesome team at QM. Keep up the good work!
