Yes, I didn't know excel, but I said I did. No matter what they ask I say I know. I fake it 'til I make it. If you're smart enough to get a degree, you have the mental capacity to learn excel. If you feel you can handle it, say you know it. Get a book from the library or half priced book store and read up on it before your next interview or day one on the job.
