I was contacted by a company recruiter who found my resume on a job board. I filled out the online application. The recruiter then arranged a phone screen with someone from their department a few days later. It was a quick 10 phone screen, basically detailing the interview process. I then had to fill out an online assessment and had to videotape myself answering a couple of interview questions as part of the assessment. The recruiter then scheduled a Day On The Trade(DOTT) for me the following week with a Territory Manager and her Regional Manager, in a town two hours away. I spent most of the day with them, observing a typical day for that position. It was a pleasant experience, and did not seem difficult at all. I asked several operational and industry questions throughout the day. The Regional Manager was very informative, but pressed me about my willingness to relocate. It seemed like a deal breaker the way he mentioned it. I expressed my interest in proceeding with the interview process. The following Monday, I was informed via email that I would not be considered for the position.
