I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Reynolds and Reynolds (Houston, TX) in Apr 2016
Interview
I applied online and within a week received confirmation to setup by scheduling a interview time. After scheduling the time for the interview I didn't hear from the recruiter for a week, until I sent another email inquiring if the position had been filled prior to the opportunity to interview. This was a red flag. I was instructed to take some test online that had nothing to do with programming or did it correlate to the job function in any way. The series of test seemed to be high school aptitude test with unreasonable expectations. Your force to figure out patterns and schemes in a short period time limit. I finish, and proceed to the interview 3 days later when I walk in the building expecting to meet my interviewer I am instructed by the secretary to go take another test. Keep in mind I SCHEDULED a interview for a certain time block. I walk in to the room to take the test and there is literally 20 people there taking the same high school aptitude test some of which doesn't look they have been to college let alone dressed to come to an interview. I shouldve walked away then. I took the test and was instructed to wait on the recruiter to call. I was never interviewed over anything programming or algorithms and they never called or emailed. I believe they are either testing the new recruitment system or interviewing minorities to say they have interviewed that population. Everyone at the testing site was Hispanic or Afo-american. Read the reviews of this company, their terrible.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Reynolds and Reynolds
Interview
Reached out by a recruiter to complete an online personality assessment. The assessment took about 30 minutes to complete and it consists of basic math and reasoning questions and personality questions.
I applied through other source. I interviewed at Reynolds and Reynolds (Houston, TX) in Jun 2025
Interview
Heard from a recruitment member via email upon applying. Following a response confirming I wanted to continue with the application, I was given an "IQ" assessment to finish. Upon scoring well and within the time frame we were asked to complete a skills assessment to match us to our supposed "dream placement". After completing all of these assessments, the company did not reach out for more than a week after which they finally sent a short rejection email with no feedback or information. Reviews on other platforms support this type of response, seemingly typical behavior.
