I interviewed at Rivian (Irvine, CA)

      Interview

My first phone call with the recruiter went well. I had my 2nd round with the hiring manager. I felt that it could have been more professional. Interviewer's infant was sick and she had to get up and take care of her baby multiple times during a 30 minute interview. I understand that having a newborn is difficult but she kept leaving her seat which broke my flow while I was talking. And every time she used to get back, there was a fresh question( I wasn't done talking about the previous one). This kept happening during the entire time. I could sense that she was irritated, I don't know if it was me or the baby. I am not sure if she was even listening to what I was saying. I was completely thrown off and lost my track. Icing on the cake, I fumbled while answering a couple of questions at the end of the call. Worst interview experience I ever had.
