I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Rover.com (Seattle, WA) in Sep 2021
Interview
It started with a take-home analytics assignment which was pretty straightforward. This was followed by a non-technical screening call with the hiring manager followed by a technical screening round which involved some basic statistics and programming. The last round was an 'on-site' (remote) loop of 4 interviews with 2 interviewers in each round focussing on some technical aspects of my previous work and alignment with Rover's core values.
It must be said that the whole process was very very well organized - documentation for the take-home assignment was detailed, a lot of information about the company and the role was given at the time of the take-home assignment, responses to emails and scheduling interviews were extremely quick and prompt. Most importantly, I felt respected as a person and a candidate throughout the process - the interviewers, while they had specific questions they needed to ask me during the interview, made it a conversation in getting to know me and my background. In most of my previous interview experiences at other places, I came out of the interview feeling like I was being treated as just another tool to complete specific tasks. I did not feel that way at Rover one bit!

Take-home assignment -> Non-technical screening -> Technical screening -> 4 rounds of an 'on-site' (remote) interview loop which was technical and my alignment with the core values at Rover.
Two interviews. Take-home task that you're supposed to limit your time on, as they want to see how you think about the problem and present it to them. Rejected without giving a chance to present.
