Honestly, it was fine at first but towards the end it was overwhelming. I had 8 interviews total, which I thought was excessive. I felt really good up until interviews 7 + 8 and by that time, I was just annoyed and over the process. Rover has 7 core values, so during the process, each interviewee is assigned a "value" and asks you questions relating to that value.
I really enjoyed everyone that I met and who I would be working with directly. I made it to the final round of interviews, which was a "virtual panel interview" where I had 4 interviews, 1 hour each, over a week period. By interviews 7 and 8, I had been asked the same questions (over 2-3 times) and was just annoyed having to answer them and trying to think of different examples to use. This is also where I started to question if I could actually see myself working here.
Again, everyone was really nice, but the interview process was a bit much, which also made me wonder if this is how the company as a whole goes about making decisions.. if so, it takes TIME. The recruiters communication was great, and she even scheduled a follow up call to prepare me for the final interview. Oh, and should they decide to not move you along in the process, they do not provide feedback of any kind. That's slightly frustrating, especially if you make it relatively far in the process.
