The process is a little bit drawn out, they seem to space their interviews out so that there is about a month between your first interview and when you would actually start. The first interview is pretty simple, they just ask you questions about your personality, if they like you, you'll take a cashier aptitude test that includes basic math, a personality quiz, and simple problem retention. The only hard part of the test is that it has a very short time limit, so you have to be quick, even though the questions aren't very difficult. They also run a background check and do a drug test as per usual with a retail job. If you pass the test, they put you in two days of cashier training which is a computer program in the store. it is about 5 hours a day, and there are tests at the end of each day, you need to pass them to continue. One is about memorizing the differences in fruits and veggies to be able to properly price them. The other is about the functions of the register.
