I received a job offer with Sagility to work as a Humana Care Coach, and I thought it was a great fit for me.
But after applying, doing several Zooms, the background check, etc., they wait until it's time to do the Tech Check to say that you cannot be set up in your living room. That it has to be a room with a door.
So, let me get this straight. You can't be near a window, you can't be near a door. You have to have a webcam pointed at you for the entire day, every day, AND, you can't be in the living or dining room (if it's not enclosed with a door).
I thought to myself, "Surely, you jest."
So I went to the Tech Setup anyway. Did all of that, set up the equipment, all of that. Everything was fine until after the 360 degree check of the room, she was like, "Nope, you need to be in a room with a door."
So let me get this straight. The one private and sacred room in my home, my bedroom, I must have a webcam pointed at for the world to see for every shift, all day, every day???
I don't live alone, my husband needs to sleep, get dressed, etc.
It is just a seasonal position, that's all I wanted it for, but I asked AI for advice and even AI was like, "Girl, you're crazy if you are giving that job even one more thought." LOL
