I was looking for a position paying a bit more than this position, and was upfront about what range I was looking for. The interviewer was very friendly and down-to-earth, and understood my required range, and was upfront about this position paying less than that range. They asked if I was flexible in my range, and I answered that due to my experience and salary requirements, I was not able to be flexible in the salary range. They said they would keep my resume on file for future jobs and we parted very professionally. All very short, sweet and friendly - no complaints.
