      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Samsara (San Jose, CA) in Mar 2019

      Interview

Super easy process. Started with a quick phone interview briefing me on the position and a few basic interview questions they followed up with an in person interview. At the in person I interviewed with six different people, Five of the interviewers I was notified about, the other sat in on my first interview and asked minimal questions. The office they are in was being renovated so they were on their first day of the new floor. After this three hour long process they said they'd be in contact if they were interested. No word for a few days and then got an email for a follow up call. This was with yet another person who was unavailable during my in person. The overall interview process was pretty simple. I'm slightly left with a bad taste about the company only because it's been over a week after my last contact with them and they have yet to say a word. I think it's super unprofessional when a company doesn't let you know either way if you got the job or not. I understand there are lots of applicants but to get to the third interview I think it would have been respectful for them to reach out in some manner. Such a bummer because I think the company is great otherwise.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Samsara (San Francisco, CA) in Jul 2019

      Interview

After applying for the role, someone reached out to set up a phone interview about 2 weeks later. The phone interview was scheduled for that same week. At the end of the call, I was invited in for an on-site the following week. I met with 4 people over 1.5 hours. I enjoyed the conversations and learned more about the role and company. The only thing I didn’t feel comfortable with was when one interviewer saw I taught abroad in Korea and asked if I was Korean. I didn't believe that was an important factor for this role. Would you ask a white person their race? After over a week after my interview, I followed up with an email inquiring about the position. They responded the next day saying they were not moving forward. Overall time was about 3 weeks.

      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Samsara (San Francisco, CA) in Apr 2018

      Interview

Was fairly simple. You could definitely tell the company's values just from the questions themselves. They asked if you were willing to grow with the company and where you would like to be placed as you eventually grow out of your position. Was 2 separate interviews. The first interview had 2 people conducting it, the second interview has 1 person conducting it.
