I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at ScottishPower (Wrexham, Wales) in Apr 2022
Interview
I applied for the Masters Scholarship for 2022. I fully appreciate that the process was not for me, online interviews where you record your answers and submit them are not for me although I understand that there were a lot of applicants and scholarships are VERY competitive. However, when I got my rejection email it said that due to the high number of applicants they are unable to provide feedback, which seems very flawed to me. I applied in very early February when applications first opened because I'd prepared in advance, surely once a threshold has been reached the applications should close so ScottishPower can provide satisfactory feedback to each candidate. As the application process was so long, I felt at least a little bit entitled to some feedback, as I'll never know if it was my interview or my competency tests which I fell short on. Overall, for the amount of effort I put in, I don't feel the whole experience has helped me progress or learn anything as I don't know where I went wrong. It just seems a very corporate and detached approach.
