You didn't actually sell that pen to "x" person. What are the benefits and features of that pen vs another pen? Always ask yourself when selling to another person...""what does this mean for him/her?" So for example, I would have said something like this pen has a soft grip exactly where most people hold the pen. What this means for you, client, is that when you are writing a longer letter, your fingers don't cramp as easily or you don't get that little coarse blister that other pens often give. ----then you could add that another feature of the pen is it comes with a matching mechanical pencil offering the same soft grip at the pencil hold area, if you purchase 2. 3 writing utensils for price of 1!
