I got the interview in July. First interview was with a recruiter, the lady was late for the call, then she was having trouble pulling out and reading my application details because she couldn't find her glasses???? I then got the take home challenge, it was an easy one (use python to do table joining and merging, and some questions about optimization). Then, I waited 3 weeks to get a response...
The second interview was with the manager, the manager is awesome. He introduced the team, and especially addressed that this role is all about analyzing rather than modeling and algorithm.
The third interview was with the director. Based on her information, this role is heavy on building algorithm, which is totally different from what the manager said. I feel they don't know what kind of people they are looking for.
Then I was informed that I didn't pass. Seriously, they asked me nothing, no BQ, no technical questions, no product related questions. All the way, I was just listening to what their team does and thats it. I have no idea what criteria do they set for their candidates....BTW, the whole process took so long.
