I applied through other source. I interviewed at Shutterfly
Interview
Very unprofessional. Their interviewer didn't even turn on the camera, didn't speak clearly and lacked soft skills. Treated me like I am a stray dog who begs for a bread chunk. The interview didn't have a proper intro, he insisted to focus on the main part in just 20 seconds. The questions weren't technical at all (it was supposed to be a technical interview). Asked me about my previous experience. However, no answer after that. I had to reach out myself just to learn that I have been rejected for a ridiculous reason. Why do you waste yours and people's time if you don't really want to hire for the position? Very unprofessional staff! Avoid!
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Shutterfly (Haifa)
Interview
- Short call with HR
- Interview at the companies office
- Home assignment
- Offer
Took about 2 weeks in total from first talk to offer
Got interviewed with super-intelegent guys, was asked mostly practical things
I had a short phone call with the recruiter, after which she sent me a home assignment. For a junior position, it wasn't easy, and I couldn't complete it within the given time frame. I emailed her to explain the situation, and she told me to send what I had—possibly giving me more time.

Question 1
Home assignment that you need to send back after 48 hours
OA + onsite, 3 rounds of interviews with coding. Not too hard — average level, but with a focus on communication. HR will reach out within one to two weeks. Standard package: no stock, no sign-on bonus.
