Disorganized and unprofessional. I found Sigma through a recruiter, and was excited to learn more about the company. From the start, the interview process was a mess. When I asked about how many rounds there would be and what the interview process was like, I was told that they weren't sure and they would let me know as the interviews progressed. They would schedule an interview, I'd jump on the zoom and then I'd get an email saying they need to reschedule. I started interviewing in May, and went through 4 rounds of interviews with incredible feedback.
After the 4th round, they told me the interview went extremely well and they would get back to me with next steps the next Friday. Friday came and went, so I followed up with them the week after they committed to get back to me. The recruiter told me she did not hear back from Sigma and that she would follow up with them and get back to me. Again, they did not get back to me by the agreed upon date. Then a few weeks later they reach out telling me that they have new leadership on the CS team, and that they would need to schedule an interviews with them.
After several follow ups with the recruiter saying they weren't sure when they could do the interview, I gave up. They reached back out to me in September (4 months after I start interviewing with them) asking me to meet additional leaders. I get on the scheduled zoom, sit there an wait 15 minutes, then I get an email saying they need to reschedule. Finally, the interview was rescheduled two weeks later. For the first few minutes, the interviewer grandstanded about how great of a leader he is. Despite his arrogance, the interview went well he told me I did great and he wanted to schedule a panel interview as a next step.
A week goes by and I hear nothing, so I reach out to the recruiter who told me she would check in with the CS team and get back to me. Another week goes by. I follow up with the recruiter again, and get no response. I send the interviewer an email, and get no response. If this is how CS manages the recruiting/interview process, then the Customer Success team at Sigma must be a complete joke and I am glad I did not get an offer.
