I applied online. I interviewed at Skanska (London, England) in Feb 2016
Interview
First stage was a standard application form, plus a CV and a cover letter. This was followed by online aptitude tests - mathematical and logical reasoning. If you pass these, you will be contacted and invited to complete a brief telephone interview. This was around 10 minutes long and was fairly simple - basic questions i.e Why Skanska, What can you bring to the company?
After passing the telephone interview, you will be invited to an assessment centre. This consists of a brief presentation (the topic will be told to you before the assessment centre, giving you time to prepare), a group exercise and an interview. The interview consisted of basic competency questions - nothing technical.
After the assessment centre, you will be contacted by Skanska with the outcome of your application. If you are rejected, Skanska will provide you with feedback.
