Phone interview for 20mins. At start, the interviewer sounds energetic. However, I realised her response to each of my answers are the same after a list of questions she asked. Very rush for the questions and not feel like being listening, it's makes sense when she said it's the hire manager make decisions.
It's weird that the interviewer said I matching the role very well but the hire manager is the one made decisions to reject me for further. I tried to ask the details but no response from Smartsheet anymore.
My question of their hiring process is:
why the second interview decision is making by someone didn't talk to me?
If the first interview is like a filter alive, why Smartsheet didn't ask for the available date and expect salary before?
It sounds like a chaotic management internally and wasting the our time.
