      Sales Interview

      Application

I applied in-person. I interviewed at Sonos (Boston, MA) in Jan 2019

      Interview

Refreshing, long and thoughtful. Great Brand and Great people, However, there is an archaic feel for the way tenured employees view the brand. They say they wanted a person to think outside the box but after a 7 hour day it was clear that there was one Director/Head who just wanted a yes man and to be compliant. It's a shame to be that tenured and not to see their complacent view of what could be a really exciting brand if they viewed the brand (no matter what level of selling) as a special entity. Because of this it was probably best that I didn't get the job because this would have been a struggle for me.
