I made it to the final of three interview rounds:
1) HireVue recorded an interview with a robot. I was not too fond of this part - it was nearly dehumanizing to interact with outer space. To ease nerves of being recorded, it would be nice to have the opportunity to learn the questions a bit ahead of time, even if it were just an hour in advance, or be given to opportunity to complete a second take simply because this is an unnatural way to interview.
2) MS Teams interview with a panel of 5-6 individuals. This was a great experience, and I immediately felt comfortable and welcomed.
3) Final Round via MS Team - I was informed I made it this far and was to give a 15-20 minute presentation in 4 days.
I put a great deal of time and effort into preparing for, researching, developing, and rehearsing a presentation. I felt that each round went very well, and I was humble but confident in the interview.
I was very disheartened to be passed over. However, that is the nature of the beast. I did find it inconsiderate to have put in such a great deal of dedication and passion into the whole process to be turned down an automated email! If a candidate completes the final round, please call to deliver the news and provide specific feedback.
UPDATE: 24 hours after getting the automated rejection, I got a personalized email from the panel lead offering a meet-up to provide feedback. This was considerate and appreciated.
Salary: No salary information was given or mentioned at any stage, and because this was a relatively new and unique position, no salary information can be found online. I'd kindly ask SNHU to be transparent to candidates about the salary range before interviewing.
Overall, fantastic experience, and I'll definitely pursue another opportunity at SNHU.
