You start out with the basic phone interview. They'll ask you a lot of general questions that's not related to engineering (How you fit in the company, what do you like to do, etc). The in-person interview lasts about one and a half hours. You first meet the shop manager, then engineering manager, and finally the principal engineer.

They ask you a lot about engineering theory. They will also ask you for equations such ask "When you bend a flat specimen by applying force in the middle, what is the equation that describes the stress?" It's not difficult, but you get caught off-guard because you're not a book that contains everything.
