I applied through other source. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Spectrum Brands
Interview
I was an out-of-state applicant, and the interview consisted of 4 stages:
1st phone interview with HR(~45min), 2nd phone interview with hiring manager (~30min), 3rd online conference call where I presented my portfolio and had QnA with more managers and the immediate team (3hrs, with breaks in between), 4th round on-site interview where I met with yet more people in the team (5hrs, including lunch with managers). Third and fourth rounds were a bit intense, with lots of questions probing into my process, work style, and etc., but everyone was really nice and friendly and it was a good opportunity for me to present my work as well as interact with the people who I might be working with and learn about the company's culture.
The HR person who worked with me was really great in keeping me posted on every step of the way, letting me know what to expect for next steps and timing, and where in the process we were.

Interview
Phone interview with HR followed by Skype interview with department manager. They were polite and friendly. I enjoyed engaging in conversation with both individuals.
Only thing that was disappointing was the rejection email was very impersonal. Given the time spent researching the company and going through the application process it would have been nice for the rejection note to at least start off with my name. A small detail but think it would have been a nice detail.
