Interview
they asked me basic android questions. There are three rounds. first round you’ll have a video or telephone interview with one of our recruiters - a chat about you, the role, and your background. If all goes well, we’ll invite you for a second interview with one or two members of the team. The final round usually involves meeting multiple band members across the business.
Had two interviews in one day. One with a manager who was very friendly. One with two software engineers who were kind of awkward and didn’t seem to want to be there.

Question 1
General domain questions, leetcode problem, and culture fit.
Applied online, got OA with LC medium/hard problems. Passed to two technical rounds - one focused on data structures, another on system design basics. Both interviewers were friendly engineers. Final behavioral round with engineering manager discussing past projects and team fit. Whole process took about 3 weeks.

Given a list of song durations and a target playlist length, find all combinations that sum to the target.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Spotify in Apr 2025
Interview
Some HR calls and then 2 interviews with a specific team. One interview was coding and domain questions, the other was on culture and values. Domain questions will depend on what team you're interviewing with. Coding section was LC Easy - Medium.
