Absolutely ridiculous process if I would have known I never would have applied. PLEASE READ*
I was contacted by a recruiter to set up a phone screen. The recruiter MISSED the phone screen... Who does that? He was at a career fair and forgot to give me a call. This was completely unprofessional, as I sat there for 30 minutes waiting for him to call me. Obviously he didn't care nor did the company, because they don't care about their candidates.
Anyways, I crushed the phone interview once we rescheduled. I was asked to meet the Regional Manager and the Sales Rep in person. After that went well I proceeded to the Gallup. Its about 80-100 questions long and it is timed in 45 minutes. I got notified a few days later I passed.
Finally, I got the ride along interview. Went to about 4 different hospitals for 10 hours, asked about 50 questions relating to the job. They took me out the lunch. Was completely engaged, and professional throughout the entire process.
After numerous follow ups with HR, the RM, and the Sales Rep I got completely ghosted. I was persistent w/ my follow ups and the team continued to ignore all emails, voicemails, and phone calls.
This was so drawn out the person from HR is no longer there anymore. I leveraged my network and found a person who actually knew the RM personally, and he contacted the RM. The RM clearly only called me due to guilt and he mentioned that they had not yet filled the position after 5 months. What a joke.
I am actually happy to be writing this because I actually just got an offer with another Medical Device Company and it pays a lot more! What goes around comes around. WOULDN'T RECOMMEND UNLESS YOU WANT TO WASTE MONTHS OF YOUR TIME!
