Interviewer emailed me for an onsite. I wrote to confirm that the date and time worked in my schedule, with a few follow up questions regarding the interview process. Radio silence for a few days. I wrote a follow up email to ask to confirm that the interview was still taking place. I was prepared to cut my losses and assume the interview would not take place. ONE HOUR before the interview was supposed to happen, interviewer emails me and confirms, ignoring my other questions in my previous email. I quickly get ready and go to the onsite in San Jose. The door is locked, so I email the interviewer again to ask to let me in. After 15 minutes of waiting, a "supervisor" comes in and interviews me instead. Not the original interviewer, but someone I had never communicated with, during the email stage. The supervisor asks if I had filled out a form. I was never asked to fill out a form during my email conversation regarding this job. The whole "interview" was me filling out this form, asking basic background questions, and then the supervisor saying: "Ok, we have your info in our system now, I don't have anything else for you." Extremely unprofessional, and would not accept an offer even if given one, if this is the level of coordination and communication management has.
