I applied through other source. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Superhuman (Berlin) in Feb 2023
Interview
I was contacted by a recruiter at Grammarly regarding a potential job opportunity. After a call to discuss the role, I was scheduled for a 5-hour interview over the course of 3 days. While the interviewer's questions were not to my liking, I appreciated the opportunity. During the initial round, the CISO asked questions about my past work experiences that I found uninteresting, such as tell me weakness and stregth of your manager at your first company. While I wanted to be snarky in my responses, I kept my answers professional. The following rounds, however, were even worse. The junior-level security engineer asked outdated questions that weren't relevant to today's cybersecurity landscape. I found the entire experience to be negative and toxic, and decided to withdraw from consideration for the position. Although I will not be joining Grammarly, I did appreciate the premium subscription they provided for a trial period. However, since discovering ChatGPT, I have stopped using even the free version of Grammarly. ChatGPT does an amazing job with grammar correction and rephrasing paragraphs. In summary, my experience with the company's interview process left a negative impression on me. I cannot recommend Grammarly as a potential employer.

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Superhuman in Oct 2025
Interview
One of the more enjoyable, speedy, and thorough interview processes I've had. The entire process took about 2-3 weeks, involved mostly technical interviews (systems design, subject matter security interviews). A final friendly chat with an executive team member to wrap up the process.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
An adversarial and defender mindset was emphasized. Think like an attacker exploiting a vulnerable system, how would you go through the kill chain? Conversely, how would you detect those actions along each step of the way?
The interview experience with the company was quite smooth and well-organized. However, surprisingly, I learned that the interviewer was laid off just a week after our discussion, which raised some concerns.

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Superhuman in Jan 2024
Interview
I thought it was an extremely thorough and enjoyable process.
I had something in the ball park of 4-5 technical rounds and 2 non-technical rounds. They were definitely more in-depth than other companies which is one of the reasons I decided to accept the offer.
My onsite interviews were split into multiple days so that was nice too. Though there were a lot of rounds, it didn't take too long either.
