I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at T-Mobile (Wichita, KS) in Oct 2012
Interview
You can apply online or at a job fair. I applied online through careerbuilder.com. I was then sent an assessment later that day. You have to go through 4 simulated calls. Hitting the repeat button will make you loose points so keep a pen and paper handy to take notes. After that you will do a personality/behavior test. Keep in mind T-Mobile rewards employees based on performance instead of tenure. One question may ask you " would you rather be rewarded for working hard or long term employee" you always want to go with the performance based answer.
T-Mobile will do a 10 year background check to see where you have lived and worked and any crimes committed during that time. There is no drug test so no need to worry.

It’s a grueling process. Do several interviews before you go in for an actual interview. It’s more like a mixer. Meet a variety of people then do a one on one.
The interview went well, but when they asked about my desired length of stay, I explained that I wanted to stay for a considerable time, but still launch or perhaps grow the company. The interviewer then went on a rant about how they thought they would only stay at this job for a short while, and their enthusiasm seemed to wane.
After completing a phone interview there was an in person interview. There were two people doing the interview one person asked the questions the other took notes. It didn't last long and they were very nice.
