Tanium interview questions

Well organized and thorough process. Every interview was fair and valuable. The tech panel was thorough, but I wouldn’t classify it as “hard”. Yes, it was challenging and I did not know several questions. But, you are free to say “I don’t know” to any answer and they aren’t trying to stump you. Be humble and don’t over sell yourself on your resume and don’t BS. IMO, all of the interviews were primarily personality focused aside from the tech panel. But even then, they are looking for how you handle yourself under pressure and when you don’t know the answer. Be humble! They clearly value one’s ability to be effective from a personality and team player perspective in addition to one’s technical ability/knowledge base. Everyone was professional and organized throughout which is indicative of the high caliber company that is Tanium. Be humble, honest, and take the time to understand Tanium, beyond just the products!

They need to change their interview process from such a bias approach. Seems like the people doing the interviews are under qualified but made to feel superior because of the success of the product. Look them up on LinkedIn and you will see. You could have worked for some of the best companies and have some of the best credentials but if 1 interviewer does not like you, you are out. Seems pretty totalitarian to me. Tanium please hire kindhearted, respectful, smart people not arrogant, control freak robots. Maybe they should clean house internally before they can start bringing in fresh, new talent.
