Tell me about a time when you had to call a code. How did you react?

Pt unable to swallow, drooling, restless, lips turning purple. At the hospital this happened at only nurses were allowed to call codes. Nurse refused to come assess the patient and call a code, so I did anyway, even though I was a patient care tech.
