I applied in-person. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at The Salvation Army (Walled Lake, MI) in Mar 2015
Interview
The hiring and interview process was very short but very informative. I had walked into the building and had asked what positions were available and if I could speak with a manager. I was quickly met with the Store Manager and was given an application. There were open interviews going on, so I filled it out and came back with the application in tow. Once, we sat in a one on one and spoke about the position and what it would entail, aside from the general questions most companies asked; I was asked for my identification. The Store Manager then faxed my information and gave me a date in which to come to orientation.
