The question was based on retrieving a large data set through an API, followed by cleaning and reducing data based on a certain scenario and then posting the results to an API.

Even though I wasn't able to provide a complete solution , this test was one of the best assessments I have given as it was not like the regular hacker rank algorithm questions. But yes you need to have strong sense of data structures , algorithms and most importantly language preferences. At least for me!
