This is a typical commission-based interview process.
The first thing they do is have you take a personality test to see how much of a fit you are with a 100% commissions based job. There is no base salary. It almost doesn't matter what the test results say, they will hire anyone and anything that is willing and able.
Next you will interview with the regional partner, and after that you will interview with the managing partner. They ask you how many people you currently know and how many of those people will meet with you for the purposes of selling investments and life insurance. They will tell you your best initial clients will be your friends and family. The more people you know, the more their eyes widen ($$$ in their pockets). Ultimately, it doesn't matter what you say or do in the interview. As long as you dont act lazy, they will hire just about anyone.
When I was hired, they flew me to Minnesota for training. There, I met about 50-60 other new hires for that month. Of that group, about 20 left the company within 6 months. Another 20 left after another 6 months. Right now, I think there is about 5 people left. As you can see, the turn-over rate is very high. Of the 5 people left, all but 2-3 are struggling financially.
