Interview
I applied online and the interview process took about 3 weeks. A initial phone screening with HR, a phone interview with a team manager that included giving a sales pitch for one of their products and the final in person interview with the team manager (sales pitch 2.0) and also with the director of new business.
I applied through other source. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Toast Inc in Aug 2022
Interview
The interview process at Toast could not have been better. The recruiter (Cassidy) clearly communicated the process so that I knew what to expect, who I would be talking to and what I needed to prepare for. Toast did not waste anyones time, it was about a two week process and again very clear communication along the way. The way Toast conducted their interviews shows that they respect others time and well being. A great indicator of how working there would be!!
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Part of the interview was a role play with a SDR manager who was the restaurant manager and I was the Toast employee calling them about switching POS systems.
Had two phone interviews - one with the recruiter and one with a manager. I had to prepare a sales pitch for the second phone interview. The final interview was conducted by 3 groups of people who worked in the department.

Interview
First-round interview was with a Toast recruiter on the phone. They went through my background, the job description, and how the rest of the interview process will go. Second-round interview was also on the phone with a sales manager, where you are supposed to present a sales pitch for critique. Third-round interview was supposed to be conducted in person, where you present an updated version of your pitch to existing employees. The third round was canceled due to COVID-19 crisis.
