I was contacted by a recruiter from TQL from my college's job board. They were interested in my resume and location and wanted to schedule a phone interview. The phone interview lasted about a half hour and culminated with a 3 minute sales pitch. That was the most intimidating part of the interview, but I they were trying to see if you could handle yourself over the phone. I was called in for a face to face interview around a week later. The interview started at 1:30, and it was hard to find their building and office. At this interview you could a standard test of US geography, Excel, Word, and Outlook. That was very basic, and then a face to face interview with the same recruiter from the phone interview. Next you just spent an hour sitting with two employees, these employees were not prepared for me to be there, and just went along like i was not there. Next was the interview with the managing director, he was intense, and seemed like he was trying to scare me away from the job. He was honest and upfront and told me what he thought my weaknesses were. This was a good interview, and makes you think about if this position is really right for you.
