Interview
I applied online and 1 month later was invited for an interview. The interview took 1,5 h in total and consisted of 3 rounds with the team members and management.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Very personal, strange questions, which had nothing to do with my qualification. They asked me "Are your parents still together?", "What does your boyfriend do for a living?" (?!?), "How often do you speak to your mother?". They said "If you feel uncomfortable, you don't have to answer", but then kept asking new strange stuff. I answered them all because I had nothing to hide, but this interview made me feel uncomfortable and put an alert on. The next day they send me a job offer. I wanted to do my research on the company, because the interview was weird and I was alarmed, so I asked if I could have time to think about it and they offered 7 days. I checked Glassdoor reviews, which were very negative, read the company's history which was full of unpretty stories. I also spoke to smb who already works there and gave a very positive overview. I decided to accept the offer (within 4 days). I also canceled my honeymoon holidays and did some other serious arrangements to be able to start sooner because they were not happy to hear about my holiday arrangements and a starting date. After that they called me to say that the offer was withdrawn because they didn't feel I was enthusiastic enough to jump on it. This took me by surprise. I was quite upset with their sneaky and unprofessional way of handling this (they gave me 7 days to think and afterwards blamed me for not being eager to sign the contract immediately). Nevertheless, I was also happy to have discovered their true nature and how little they care about the employees before committing to this company. I would have been probably much more screwed if I signed the contract.
First call with HR, then with Dept Manager, then in-person interview with hiring managers. The whole process was quick, hiring managers were lovely and the questions were aligned with the role. Interview with Detp Manager was easy.
5 interviews (1 in person) for an entry level position and 2700-3300 salary/month. Told me only at 2nd interview that I'm expected to work overtime and weekends all the time.
Briefing with Human Resources team and interview with team head. Team head mentioned the company background and job details. Also gave a brief idea of the working environment, company benefits .
