I applied online. I interviewed at Truist (Orlando, FL) in Jan 2026
Interview
The interview process at Truist was structured but slow. After applying online, I completed a one-way video interview with behavioral and customer service questions. Communication between steps was limited, and I waited about one to two weeks before hearing back. The process felt professional but required patience, as updates were minimal until a final decision was made

Question 1
Tell us about a time you provided excellent customer service to a customer or client
Process comprised multiple questions, explanation of job duties, etc. It was a very straightforward and simple process. It was a typical bank/ financial institution interview process. Follow-up questions were encouraged.

Interview
Basic STAR interview questions, but by the look on the two who interviewed me after they reviewed my resume it was clear as day, I was overqualified. Times during the interview they seemed to not understand words I was stating. For instance, I come from a law background, so my customer experiences and scenarios all come from what's going on in a legal POV/Court Room. So, times when I was answering their questions, I had to go into more detail basically what words mean in a language they would understand.
