Actually applied twice for same role. Auto rejected first time, tweaked CV to include some key words second time and got through to interview - my experience closely matches role so clearly using ATS rather than reviewing. Initial screening with a recruitment person who felt like she was rushing through the check boxes to set up an interview, made a point to bring up the ruthless headcount cutting as "strategy changes". Interview with hiring manager felt very positive and discussed next steps. Waited over a week, got an auto reject with no feedback. Very strange. Recruitment process wouldn't be worth it as was described as 4-5 stages.
