I applied online. I interviewed at USAA (Colorado Springs, CO) in Jan 2008
Interview
Phone interview with HR, met with HR Manager for about an hour interview. Then numerous tests on personality, spelling and grammar, timed typing, etc in a room with about 35 others testing. Once hired, an 8 week training probation period where you were let go if late or missed any of it regardless of the reason.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They were mostly concerned how you'd deal with sitting all day.
The interview process is relatively straightforward. For any contact center role, they take into account any customer-facing positions you’ve had in the past and prioritize your most recent experience. Having at least some knowledge of the military community helps as USAA remains loyal to its member base, which is composed mostly of those who were in the military or have had family that served.
