I applied online. I interviewed at Uber (Chicago, IL)
Interview
- Personality Test (Online 18-20 min)
Pretty self-explanatory
- Phone Screening (30 minutes)
My experience is in remote SaaS sales from ENT - Individual licenses. My job is my phone.
As soon as I left this conversation I never wanted to interact with this recruiter again. Went on random tangents that made it clear they weren't listening, perhaps they were checking boxes? Quite literally put words in my mouth stating "I was not interested in this role (despite applying) because the compensation was too low", and started off the call by attributing a bit of feedback we were having on me. Oddly aggressive, maybe a recruitment tactic in our line of work, I couldn't say.
It's a phone screen, it shouldn't be hard it's primarily a way to see how personable you are. You are on Glassdoor reading this, so I don't need to tell you. However, whatever happened before the call with me made it impossible to have any dialogue with the recruiter, and you can't do anything about that.
If you think I'm being dramatic (I am writing this all out after all) - they told me they would get back to me either at the end of the week or early the following. Two weeks. No communication. No alerts. Not even an automated email. Only by checking manually did I see that they closed the application. This is not my first rodeo - but this was odd even for big tech.

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Uber in May 2026
Interview
I interviewed with the Uber Eats team, and the recruiters were very friendly, helpful, and supportive throughout the process. My next interview was with the Hiring Manager, and I had a great conversation learning more about the role and discussing how my skills and experience could be a strong benefit to the team.
Overall, it was a great interview experience. However, I was not selected to move forward, and the feedback I received was that I did not answer the situational questions using the STAR method. I found this a bit confusing because, from my understanding, the Hiring Manager did not ask any behavioral or situational scenario-based questions during the interview.
That said, I still appreciate the opportunity and the positive experience throughout the process.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Uber (London, England) in Apr 2026
Interview
Had a first round call with their hr, they went through the role and expectations that they had for their ideal candidate, told me they will follow up with details on the next step then I never heard from them after the call.
Easy Process, challenging questions and case study but interviewers were friendly and very patient! They provided with all the materials needed . The communication was inconsistent so had to follow up a few times
